These candles are truly, "absolutely my favorite" -- these are not just "words"... They are obviously very high quality as the burn is efficient AND most notably, the scent continues as the candle burns! So many candles smell nice but when you burn them the scent is hardly detectable. Obviously, the quality and quantity of the wax and scent is excellent.

This is one of my favorite scents. I love the hint of incense in it that gives it the eclectic bookstore on a rainy afternoon vibe. The candle smells vintage; yet also clean and fresh without a hint of migraine inducing perfume. Highly recommend!

It is hard to describe the scent but I was so happy it doesn't have a fake or chemical scent like most caramel scents. Also doesn't smell like burning sugar like so many. The cold throw is nice but the scent throw when hot is just DIVINE. Has a nice slow burn, I burn for 2-3 hours at a time normally. Still continues to have a strong scent even after multiple burns.

Make sure to follow the directions, letting it burn the first time until the whole 1/4" of the top is liquid. I normally do but had something come up the first time with this one and had to snuff it out early causing it to tunnel, luckily it was nearly the full diameter. I just ordered another smaller one with a bunch of the other fall scents.

I use them as part of my welcome basket at the Whidbey Island Airbnb/VRBO. I put in a selection of Island produced goodies for our guests.
Elm Designs makes clean burning soy candles locally on South Whidbey. And also happens to be my sweet friend of 30 years, Erin's, business.
She makes all the scent combinations and candles herself. She also collaborates with a local potter to make some of her candles so that when the candle is gone, you can use the vessel as a planter. So cute 😍!
